Mediterranean Pizza
The true flavours of Italy shine in this mouth-watering pizza
Cooking Time: 15-20 minutes Makes: 1 pizza
Ingredients
- 1 pizza base
- 1 tbsp of Always Fresh Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 2 tbsp caramelised onion relish
- 4 cherry tomatoes halved 1 cup mozzarella cheese, sliced
- 1 rash of bacon, chopped
- 1/3 cup of chopped mushrooms
- 1/2 bunch basil, roughly sliced
- 1/3 cup of Always Fresh Black Olives- Whole
Method
Preheat the oven to 180°C. Spray one flat baking tray, place the pizza base onto it.
Using a spoon spread the olive oil and tomato paste over the base.
Evenly spread the tomatoes, mushrooms, bacon, olives and mozzarella over the pizza.
Lastly, top with caramelised onion relish, basil and season with salt and pepper.
Cook for 15 – 20 minutes until the cheese is melted and starting to brown around the edges.
Garnish with fresh basil to serve.
